Pineapple Chicken and Rice Recipes :
Ingredients
- 1 half pound of boneless chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon of dry thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- 1/8 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 can of 20 ounces. Pineapple slices Save juice for sauce
- 1 tablespoon of corn
- 1/4 cup of dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup dear
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 4 portions of cooked rice.
Instructions
- Chicken season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- More than heat is chicken brown in vegetable oil.
- Drain the pineapple slices and reserves of juice.
- Combine Cornstarch and 2 ounces. from pineapple juice and set aside.
- In a separate bowl combining the remaining juice with mustard, honey and garlic.
- Add a dijon mixture to the pan, reduce heat and cover.
- Let it boil for 15 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet.
- Stir the corn flour mixture and add it to the pan and simmer.
- Stir for 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat and return the chicken into the pan. Turn the chicken in a skillet to get it well and coated with sauce.
- Add pineapple slices to the pan (above the chicken and around the chicken) covering for 2-3 minutes to allow pineapple to heat.
- Excessive serving.
