This peanut butter cupcake requires only four ingredients, making it perfect for a last minute dessert!
Chocolate has been and will always be my weakness.
The chocolate cake is therefore definitely at the top of my list of favorite desserts. So I thought it would be fun to try a dump cake recipe ... and if this is the first time you've heard of a dump cake, its name explains just about everything - you just throw a few ingredients in a bowl and stir. My kind of pastry!
Kitchen supplies
- mixing bowl
- large silicone spoon or spatula
- Cake pan 9 × 13
- non-stick cooking spray
- plastic ziplock bag and mallet (for grinding cups of peanut butter)
Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 can dry chocolate pudding
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1 bag of cups of peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Empty cake mix, pudding mix and milk into a large bowl
- Mix thoroughly
- Crush the peanut butter cups into small pieces and incorporate them into the dough
- Pour into a greased 9 × 13 cake pan
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Another weakness is cups of peanut butter, so I knew I had to "dump" some of them in this cake. I crowned it with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Looks like I spent a lot of time and work making this cake!
